THINKING DAY

Thinking Day was observed in the Vidyalaya on 22 Feb 2017.

Mrs. Vinita Da Ga Rose , Principal and Patron of the Group presided over the function. Scout Masters and Guide Captians of the Vidyalaya:
Dr.Ashok Prasad PGT(Hindi), Mr. S N Bhat Librarian, Mrs.Shailaja Rao PRT, Mr.T Rajasekharan TGT(WE), Mr.Shivaram Shetty THT(Hindi), Mr.Jagadeesh Karkera TGT(AE), Mrs.Anupama PRT, Mrs.Roja Rajan PRT, Mrs.Kavitha Bhat PRT were present.

Cultural Program by Cubs and Bulbuls, speech by Scouts were part of the program.

READING DAY READING MONTH CELEBRATIONS

                    celebration of      "Reading Day Reading Month" (ref:KVS letter No F11029/16/2016/KVS(HQ)/Acad/CBSE/3794-3821 dated 18.6.2019) CBSE letter No:CBSE/DIR(ACAD/2019 circular no Acad-31/2019.June 17,2019 "Reading Day Reading Month"  is a  pioneer project to inculcate reading habit among children, A Govt of Kerala initiative with the collaboration of P N Panicker Foundation , Kerala. Reading month activities 2018

Reading Month activities are being conducted in the vidyalaya during June 21st to July 18th.2018. In primary classes tiny tots are oriented to read aloud large print story books. Class Library system is implemented. In secondary section, during the assembly books reviews are being conducted and book and author quiz are held. Class Library is also set up in secondary section. Class Library: Read for Joy.... Reading Pledge is for a habit..... today's book review.... Read Aloud stories-an orientation tiny tots-large print-learning Vocabulary through story reading
